Which Church Father Are You?

I came across this test on Mike Aquilina‘s blog, The Way of the Fathers. Mike Aquilina is an author of many best selling books on the Early Church Fathers and Catholic History. He’s also a regular guest on EWTN and Catholic Answers LIVE.

Here are my results:

You are St. Jerome!

You’re a passionate Christian, fiercely devoted to Jesus Christ and his Church. You are willing to labor long hours in the Lord’s vineyard, and you have little patience with those who are less willing or able to work as you do. Your passions often carry you into temptation zones of wrath, lust, and pride.

Check out The Letters of St. Jerome for more information on St. Jerome.

Ever thought about what it’ll be like if God responded to your prayers in real-time, even while you’re still praying (or trying to pray)? I think it’ll probably be pretty amusing.

Thanks to The Ironic Catholic for sharing this on his blog! Here’s a snippet:

Our Father, Who Art In Heaven.
Yes?
Don’t interrupt me. I’m praying.
But… you called me!
Called you? No, I didn’t call you. I’m praying. Our Father who art in Heaven…
There… you did it again.
Did what?
Called me. You said, “Our Father, who art in Heaven.”
Well, here I am. What’s on your mind?
But I didn’t mean anything by it. I was, you know, just saying my prayers for the day. I always say the Lord’s Prayer. It makes me feel good, kind of like fulfilling a duty.
Well, all right. Go on….
